Search26 was founded by Lewis Horwell. After a decade in tech recruitment, I wanted full control over how I work with clients and candidates, to give everyone I work with a service that feels exclusive and personal, not another name on an account list.
Why Search26
Too much of recruitment is transactional. CVs get fired at inboxes, candidates get ghosted, and clients get told what they want to hear instead of what they need to know. Search26 exists to build genuine relationships on both sides of the table, and to give straight answers even when they're not the easy ones.
Who I work with
I specialise in Software Engineering and Product hires, from senior individual contributors through to engineering leadership: Heads of Engineering, Directors of Engineering and CTOs. I work with ambitious, fast-growth technology companies, which means understanding the product, the stage of growth, and the kind of people who'll actually thrive there, not just ticking skills boxes.

When I'm not recruiting, I like to spend time with my young family or following my beloved Grimsby Town Football Club.
